I hadn’t realized that the Playbook was already available, but I just stopped buy a Staples and there it was.
I’m used to my android phone that has that has not only a home key (like an iPhone or iPad) but a back button, menu button, and search button as well. And every blackberry I’ve ever used (and I’ve had 3) has a menu and back button as well as a keyboard and some sort of mouse device.
I was very excited about the Playbook when I heard the announcement that they’ve included the abilty to use all Android apps, as well as blackberry apps. in my opionin blackberry has always had the best hardware and there operating system is rock solid but they really dropped the ball with 3rd party apps because you just don’t get the varity, and breath of posibilitys you do with other platforms.
However in staples They had the 16GB WiFi for only $499.99 but i didn’t check to see if there were any crazy hoops to jump through.
Any way if anyone knows what the deal is with the buttons, let me know. Maybe after doing a bit more research and playing with it a bit more I’ll be ready to pick one up.
